One of the most historic venues in Brazilian football and home for Atletico Mineiro and Cruzeiro, both former national champions.

The 62,000 capacity Estadio Mineirao will host four FIFA World Cup 2014 group matches:

  • Colombia vs. Greece Saturday June 14
  • Belgium vs. Algeria Tuesday June 17
  • Argentina vs. Iran Saturday June 21
  • Costa Rica vs. England Tuesday June 24

It will also host a match in the round of 16 Saturday June 28, possibly with Brazil playing,
and a semifinal match on Tuesday July 8. UPDATE: Brazil vs Germany made it to the semifinals.
